Lindypalooza! is an annual workshop held by the Illini Swing Society, focusing on lindy hop. This year, we are proud to bring you internationally renowned instructors Naomi Uyama and Peter Strom for what will be a full weekend of expanding your lindy vocabulary, not to mention all the fun that goes into learning it.

Lindypalooza 2011 is perfect for the person who just learned how to swingout AND for experienced dancers! Peter and Naomi are gifted teachers, and we look forward to the fun and challenging classes they will bring. Don't miss out on...

• Halloween Dance Friday night, complete with costume contest!
• Amateur Jack 'n Jill Competition Saturday night!
• Advanced class Sunday morning! (tryout required)
• DJs Peter and Naomi for a relaxed farewell dance Sunday afternoon!

Highlights of the entire weekend include:

• great instruction: 7 hours of classes across two days + 1 bonus advanced class
• lots of dancing: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday dances
• live music: featuring Traditional Jazz Orchestra
• great venues: all workshops in real ballrooms, almost all events in one building
