723 S. Neil St. in Champaign
For our Friday night Welcome Dance, we'll be adding a bit of a spooky touch to this great open space located in the same building as El Toro just south of Downtown Champaign.
Note: El Toro is a Mexican restaurant, so there will be food and drinks nearby all evening long!
Parking
Park in the El Toro parking lot just west of the building. Go through the El Toro hallway to get to the dance.
Illini Union
The Ballroom: Room 200
We are happy to present all the weekend's classes in the same location! This year, all Lindypalooza classes, as well as the Saturday night dance, will be in the beautiful second-floor ballroom of The Illini Union. Located in the heart of campustown, the Union is very handily near many tasty places to eat.
Note: There is an interactive map at the front of the Union, on the main floor. If you're ever confused about where to go, it will show you right where our events are!
Parking
Parking on the University of Illinois campus can be tricky, but many University lots open to visitors after 5pm and on weekends (subject to posted restrictions). If you arrive before 5pm Friday there will probably be metered street spaces close by*. But BE CAREFUL: your car may be towed if you park in prohibited spaces or lots. Be sure to check posted signs or meters for enforcement times before leaving your car!
Illini Union:
- There is some parking available on the Green St. side of the Union, and there is also street parking on the surrounding streets (Matthews, Wright, Goodwin). There is also a close lot on John St. between Wright and 6th (go down Wright past Green, and turn on John St, the lot is on your left).
General Campus Parking:
- Street parking* (usually free on weekends, check the meter)
- B1 Springfield Avenue between Mathews & Goodwin
- A9 Healey and Sixth
- Municipal lot is located on Green St. between Fifth and Sixth streets.
Foellinger Auditorium
For our farewell dance, we'll be steppin' on the lovely wood floor of the Foellinger Auditorium stage. Located just down the Main Quad from the Illini Union, this regal space will provide an intimate closing to our busy weekend.
